Armed Secret Service agents opened fire this morning after a metallic disc touched down on the White House lawn, killing every occupant before they could step clear of the craft.
Witnesses on nearby Pennsylvania Avenue described a silver saucer roughly ten metres across that descended without warning shortly after 9 a.m. The object hovered for less than thirty seconds, then settled on the grass between the main residence and the West Wing. Within moments, several small green figures emerged from a lower hatch.
Immediate response
Uniformed agents positioned on the perimeter raised firearms at once. A short burst of shots rang out. All visible figures collapsed beside the hull. No return fire or signals were recorded. The vessel remained intact and stationary after the shooting stopped.
White House press secretary Dana Torres later confirmed the deaths. “The craft landed without clearance or identification,” she told reporters. “Protective agents responded to an unknown threat in accordance with standing protocols.”
What authorities know so far
Preliminary descriptions from law-enforcement sources match the classic “little green men” trope: three to four beings roughly one metre tall, green-skinned, wearing no visible clothing or devices. No weapons were recovered at the scene. The interior of the craft has not yet been entered.
Defence officials said radar and air-traffic systems registered no prior track. No radio transmissions preceded the landing. The President was moved to a secure location inside the residence and remains unharmed.
Next steps
Joint teams from the FBI, NASA, and military intelligence have been assembled. The site is now cordoned while forensic specialists document the bodies and examine the exterior of the craft. A public briefing is expected later today.
Foreign governments have been notified through standard diplomatic channels. No other landings have been reported elsewhere in the United States or overseas.
