About uhavn.fun

Why this site exists.

Every page on this site is fiction. The articles, the news reports, the journal papers, the government notices, the fact checks: all of it is generated by AI and none of it is real. The bylines are invented. The institutions do not exist. The quotes were never said. The “sources on file” are on file nowhere.

I built uhavn.fun to make one point, and to make it the hard way.

Anything can be put on the internet. It takes seconds. With the tools available today, anyone can produce a page that looks exactly like a real newspaper, a peer-reviewed study, or an official advisory, and publish it to a working web address before their coffee goes cold. Looking legitimate is trivial. Being legitimate is not, and the two have almost nothing to do with each other.

This site exists because of an argument. Someone presented me a web page as if it settled the matter, as if being online made it true. It did not occur to them to ask who wrote it, why, or whether a single claim on it could be checked. That instinct, to treat “I saw it online” as the end of a discussion rather than the start of one, is everywhere, and it is how people end up confidently wrong.

So uhavn.fun is a demonstration. If you skim it, it will fool you, and that is the point landing on exactly the person it is aimed at. If you stop and actually read, the whole thing comes apart in your hands. Try to verify anything here and you will find nothing, because there is nothing to find. That gap, between how convincing a page looks and how little survives a minute of scrutiny, is the entire lesson.

I am not here to deceive anyone. Every page carries a notice that it is fiction, and this page tells you plainly what the site is and why it exists. I will never create a page intended to genuinely mislead a real person about a real event. The goal is the opposite: to make people trust the polish a little less, and their own checking a little more.

If a page here made you stop and wonder whether it was real, good. Now do that everywhere else.
